...more like not selling enough to be on a major....i think warner thought he was able to achieve the same commercial success as Ed Sheeran....obviously nothing close...

The individuals who are excited about this album probably have never seen, let alone listened to, a cassette in their lives.

pretty sure nevershoutnever was signed before ed sheeran so that makes no sense at all. the label was just trying to bank on a boom and didnt know how to handle him as an artist and fucked up and gave him his own imprint
