Bought the song on itunes, haven't listened to it yet. Not a huge fan on the r&b stuff in their songs. And tyler hasen't surpassed jonny craig by any means singing wise
When I first heard it, It was stuck in my head for a solid month.
Everyone complaining about the chugging... Eh it works with the riffs in the songs I have heard. The guitar work isn't the most innovative thing, but it is GOOD.
I would also love to hear a bit more variety in the guitar work (like lead guitars). But it seems like the song was written for a single rhythm guitarist to perform comfortably live (breakdowns and choruses). Even with the excessive chugging, some of the riffs do actually have some form of technicality even if it's all low fret notes.
Thought the singing and even the RnB bits worked quite well and I liked how it wasn't just about talking shit to Woe, Is Me again. Speaking of whom, this is miles better than any of their new songs.
