Last Night in town is their best album, bar none. I can't decide how to rank the others.
The Big Dirty is at the bottom.

I'm surprised how much love GP is getting. By far their least interesting album imho. Side note, BD and NJA are sort of tied for me. Great band though, always a fan.

I absolutely love Hot Damn!, and it is for sure a stellar hardcore album, but the songwriting progression they've made since then eclipses it, in my opinion.

I agree that EL saw the band pushing themselves further than they had before, and writing some of their best songs yet in the process. It's just hard to top HD and the impact it's had. The first 8 tracks are all killer with some of the best breakdowns and lyrics in the scene. It is the apex ETID record, but that's not to degrade their other albums, which are top grade through and through.

I'd almost rank BD and NJA the same since they each feature about as many favorite tracks of mine on their respective records. GP is honestly the only obvious one to land at the bottom for me because of the less than stellar production thanks to Machine. It just sounds hollow compared to the rest of their catalog.

Side note: I haven't listened to LNIT to warrant its inclusion.
