They definitely hold down the pop rock style like no one's business.

Also, you mentioning the guitar makes me think about the fact that Tom has his own line, and along with that, there's a new generation of guitarists getting their own lines. I always saw the old ones like EVH, Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc, and now we have a new group like Tom and Sinister Gates (from AX7). Kind of cool how life comes around like that.
