This news saddens me a lot.

Am I the only person who interpreted this as stopping playing bigger shows and scaling back the grandiose nature of Coldplay?
I wish more big bands would do residencies (play 3/4/5 nights in one city) on tours at smaller venues.

Bummer. They just booked 3 large shows for March/13 that I was going, and then in the next week all of them were suddenly cancelled. Why bother scheduling than?

If you missed the Mylo Xyloto Tour, get your ass on over to Barclays Center for their New Year's Eve run. Trust me, it's a show you do not want to miss.

Whatever floats their boat. That New Years Eve show should be a treat for whoever goes.

Yeah. 3yrs ain't too long. They've been everywhere for a while on this tour, almost 100 shows in 2yrs

And if it extends their career as friends and a band I'm all for it and they can come back fresh with ideas for a new album

I've always wanted to go to a giant Coldplay show.

Smaller shows that aren't as expensive should be good.
