I feel ya, but even Vinnie plays "Hey" pretty mellow when he's doing it acoustic sometimes. It really changes the song, but to me it's more apples/oranges than good/bad.

As for this comp though... It seems like reserving judgment on the whole thing until it's released is a good idea. So far I've half-enjoyed pretty much everything that's been streaming here and there, but nothing seems to strike much of a chord.

I'm very interested in this tribute album, and this song is not any bad, I love the original as it's one of my favourites, and even this take is quite ok as long as it respects the great melody in it.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one that thinks all of these Movielife tribute albums suck.

The movielife does not need to be pretty boyified. This sucks.

one of my all time favorite movielife songs...this doesn't hold a match to it. Though I don't think it's horrible.
