Two things I noticed.

1) Has Ray left the band?
2) Has Bob rejoined?

Anyone have any details on this?

Edit: Just noticed the Conventional Weapons Tag. Still, where was Ray for this? Was this just a mistag on forgetting his name?

Well I can tell that it developed into The Kids From Yesterday.

Pretty good, not as good as the previous Conventional Weapons releases have been though.

fucking way better. can't believe they fucked up such a great song and made it so bland, this is probably the first time I've ever really been disappointed in my favourite band although that's lessened slightly by the fact that it's being released as part of a set of scrapped songs. Still though, the live versions were so damn good and this is possibly the weakest song they've ever put out imo.

That would be a disappointing lineup change. Ray is one of my favorite parts of the band. But he's still in it.

damn i don't even listen to this band (the first songs i ever liked were these Conventional Weapons ones) but this song is brillant. i can't believe they scrapped it

I actually quite like the studio version of The World Is Ugly, but my god, The Light Behind Your Eyes is something else entirely. Absolutely stunning.
