I'm just giggling at 60-year-old criticism that's been responded to, critiqued, argued against, refined, etc. endlessly by scholars in the interim being tossed out like a holy text that proves Frank Ocean is objectively not good. Jesus. New Criticism in its pure form is seriously ancient at this point.

Edit: There'd be a lot more to discuss if you were namedropping, say, Stanley Fish.
