Kind of agree. On Letting Go is a solid play through start to finish, but song for song I also think it's the weakest.

Kind of weak covers in my opinion. Just very bland. Sounds more like this should've been "Anthony Green" releases a couple of Christmas tunes as opposed to Circa Survive. The vocal mix is very off putting as well.

^ Seems like more and more of their recent material has been more suited for AG solo than Circa. Not that free Christmas covers really count, but still. Same goes for that song they released for the Sandy Benefit EP a couple months ago.

OLG is easily their best album to me. Living Together/In the Morning and Amazing is one of the best opening sequences ever.

I would say Violent Waves and Blue Sky Noise are their best albums, but Juturna will always be my favorite.

He has an amazing voice, why all the reverb???

I love how everyone is stating their favourite Circa album when the thread should be about the Christmas songs.

That being said...

Juturna > Appendage > Blue Sky Noise > Violent Waves > On Letting Go

OLG still has some great tracks on it; in fact In the Morning and Amazing is one of my all time favourites from Circa. It's just that I kind of lose interest after the 4th song. Carry Us Away is extremely boring to me, and All Your Friends are Gone is a weak closer. Additionally, I feel like the lyrics on OLG are way too fragmented and it's difficult for me to relate to them at all. I mean, I enjoy cryptic lyrics but they need to have substance as well.

Also really love Battle My Love and Suspending Disbelief as singles.
