I came here to say something about the book, but then I remembered that someone read it and said it was awful.

i never heard of anyone read it already.. i'm not sure they even sent out press copies yet so i don't know how true that would be.

i'll go to the nyc signing. always good to say hello to pete. and i'll support and buy the book as well.

When I saw him with Black Cards, they did a meet & greet type thing at the back of the venue after the show. A couple of us took FOB album sleeves for him to sign (is that rude? I don't know, but it wasn't an opportunity I was going to miss out on) and he was perfectly happy to sign them. In fact, on the inside of my friend's b-sides DVD case he scored out the 'her' in 'I love her' and wrote 'you' instead haha. He's pretty chill about it.

I'm excited to read some of Pete's writing of old. The Boy With The Thorn in His Side has some serious precursors to Fuct throught.

Wait. How is this going to work at the LA signing if the book comes out the next day. Thats when i'll get it from Amazon.

I know the New Jersey bookstore is very strict about the author only signing the book, you barely get to speak, they ask if you want him/her to personalize it and ask for your name. I went when I was little for Mick Foley and then again for the Pete Rose book where he admitted to gambling.
