Oh, and because of their breakup, I've been revisiting The Mars Volta's discography. While I do love almost all of it (let's just forget about Octahedron), this is still one of my favorite albums:

I've been getting myself stoked for the Balance and Composure headliner which means listening to their discography over and over.

Also just discovered Squid The Whale. Pretty sweet stuff.

Heartthrob is so good

Mostly just been listening to All My Friends Are Enemies. Some great b-sides on there I've never heard before. Plus Baseball has never sounded better.

In honor of Cartel's new album coming soon, I've been listening to Chroma all week. Cant wait to hear the new song drop tomorrow. I hope Tate is right in his praises of Collider. Last two Cartel Albums have been solid, but underwhelming. The recent EP held promise, however.
