The backstory he decided to throw onto The Disintegration Loops, about how he was playing his home recorded loop music while watching 9/11, and somehow that adds up to some cosmic significance, is not just completely absurd, but seriously offensive to the victims of an unspeakably tragic event. I think that some of the material holds up, Melancholia too, I just can't really get over that.
