It was an incredible album though.

i think that this band reached a lot of people... both mainstream and independent listeners.

Over the past ten years, Ive met a lot of people who are into different genres that have all equally proclaimed this album as a top favorite.
Whether theyre into folk, dance/techno, rock, pop... people connected. It helps that most of the people involved had their own groups and im sure that people who solely like those groups have obtained an interest in The Postal Service.

I think people are jumping at seeing these shows because this band was not around as much when they were relevant and that the possibility of them doing anything ever again is slim to none.
I remember hearing them for the first time ten years ago around the same time I heard Copeland. It was such a good year for music!

I'm not sure that death cab could do that.

I didn't realize they were ever big at all.

I feel like I shouldn't be surprised, but at the same time, wow.

still surprised they sold out one night. glad i nabbed tickets.
