Easily the most overrated Floyd album in my opinion. It's still great, don't get me wrong, but probably only my fourth- or fifth-favorite record of theirs.

Such a brilliant album. I know it's cliche, but this is totally my go to album when I get high and cruise around with my friends. It's just so easy to get lost in the songs and it's aged so well. Happy birthday I guess, even though you're just an album.

I think The Wall is more overrated. Both are masterpieces, but I think Wish You Were Here trumps them all.

Dude hell yeah, Wish You Were Here is my favorite Floyd album for sure. I also really like Piper and Animals. The two traditional "masterpieces" are great too though obviously.

Never forget my father introducing me to this album at the ripe age of 6, my old man's never been cooler.

I was negative 13 when got released, but still such an amazing album that I never get sick of. I'll actually probably play it on the way home from work tonight.

This was the first vinyl I ever had, givin to me by my dad. When I first started smoking pot I would spin it religiously.

Great record. I like Wish You Were Here a little better but this thing is so classic. Definitely that album I put on when I test out a new piece of stereo equipment because I know it so well.

Ever done the Wizard of Oz matched up with it? Pretty crazy how the music and lyrics match up. I've shown it to a couple people and I think it loses a lot of its effectiveness if you don't know the lyrics.
