Lame that Mansions didn't make the cut. They're the best of the modern category, and probably the saddest of all of them.

Finding it hard to decide whether I vote the band I like best, or the band that is most "emo". Especially in the Brand New v. Thursday category.

Seriously though, I want TEN to win, but they probably won't, and I would be okay with almost any of these bands winning really.

TBS and Brand New in the same quadrant and JEW also on the same half of the bracket? What's up with that seeding... I mean I guess it makes sense that you don't put all the modern day bands against the early 2000s or else they'd all get knocked out in the first round, but I'd've at least put the early 00s and 90s groups on opposite halves of the bracket.

I'm genuinely surprised that Dashboard was knocked out in the first round!

We all know Brand New is going to win....

That being said, I hope Balance & Composure wins. In my opinion, they deserve to win this.

The Smiths should have gotten an at large bid.

Honestly shocked that Dashboard didn't make it. Chris Carrabba is the epitome of emo.

Pretty much all of the bands I picked are losing their rounds except for The Early November, haha.

I wish Mansions had made it. I haven't heard of any of the other bands in their category.
