I felt stupid because I kept rewinding to the beginning of the video trying to listen/see anything, but obviously couldn't, haha. I missed the part about the video just showing the "aftermath"

haha. the first time i watched it, i did the same thing. i was like WHERE IS THE FIGHT? but. got really sad when i couldnt understand the first 20 seconds or so of the video and realized that it was just travie apologizing.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. That kid definitely deserved what was coming to him, but I feel Travis stooped down to his level by striking him. I think both parties are wrong here, but I guess I can't really blame Travis for reacting the way he did.

this is probably what the kid wanted anyway (if Travis did indeed get arrested/has charges pressed). he's probably laughing now, who knows. when it comes to people like that, you have to take the high road because this is just what they want. you can't stoop to their level. and you can't go on (right after the fact) about how the comment didn't affect you. that's pretty hypocritical.

I'm not trying to stand up for this kid, by any means. I'm just saying they BOTH made stupid decisions. Travis isn't a hero for this...

I like the fact that you have a well thought out idea. My thing is that Travis is still human. You said that even if he reacted off of insticnt it was still a bad idea.. how many times have i done something off of instincts and in retrospect it was a bad idea? maybe it was a bad idea, but i dont think you can blame travis for his reaction

So, I happened to be one of three photographers actually standing there during the incident. Punches and mics started flying and I snapped some evidence.

Pretty intense, this was as close as I dare got. Travie's mic was BUSTED and with pieces of it flying, I didn't want to get hurt.

I don't know. people do and say incredibly stupid things all of the time. resorting to violence is normally not the best idea...but most people do it and see it as the only option. I mean, especially since this kid probably doesn't know shit about Travis and only wanted to stir things up. but oh well. to each his own I guess.
