Finch - What It Is To Burn

8th grade. Walmart. Never forget it. Didn't even know, but one song. One of my favorite purchases ever.

First CD?

Pshhhhaaa. You mean first TAPE.

And it was Prince's "Batman Soundtrack" ... followed up soon after by Michael Jackson's "Bad."

First CD was Nirvana's "Nevermind."

First borrowed CD was Blink's "Dude Ranch" ... that changed everything.

First burned CD was The Ataris' "Blue Skies..."

First mp3 ever downloaded? Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger (followed by some New Found Glory songs).

I grew up with plenty of rock and roll CDs laying around my house, but N SYNC's No Strings Attached stands out as something that we were very excited to get a hold of when it came out. I remember asking my mom to buy me Red Hot Chili Peppers' Californication and Green Day's Nimrod at the mall. I'm not sure I can remember the first one I purchased with my own money. I used to buy a lot of CDs every week in high school.

Take This To Your Grave

Before that, I bought Siren Song of The Counter Culture for my sister's birthday, and on the same day I bought TTTYG for myself, I bought my sister Dusk and Summer for her birthday (on the day it came out)

My first tape I think was The Offspring Self-Esteem. My first cd may have been Britney Spears haha. I remember wanting the poster it came with. I was in love with her as a youngster.

First CD's I ever bought were Fall Out Boy's "From Under the Cork Tree" and Green Day's "American Idiot."
Fell more in love with FOB and the Fueled by Ramen roster than I ever did with Green Day.

Wow I can't even remember. It was probably AC/DC related though.
