ABSOLUTExclusive: Valley Lodge Album Stream

Posted by - 09:19 AM on 08/30/13
We've got a really great exclusive for you guys today. You might not recognize the name Dave Hill right now, but with all the pots he has his hands in, you will soon. Bearing a multi-hyphenate title that would rival James Franco's, Hill is a published author (of a collection of essays entitled Tasteful Nudes), stand-up comedian, podcaster, host of a monthly live variety show, and also frontman for the power-pop group Valley Lodge. The group is gearing up to release their third album, Use Your Weapons, next Tuesday, but we're happy to be streaming the entire record a few days early. Filled to the brim with massive hooks and infectious vocals, this record is right up the alley of anybody who's a fan of groups like Fountains of Wayne or Big Star. So stop reading, head to the replies to give the album a listen, and be sure to pick it up when it comes out on September 3rd.

Is this the same guy who did that show King Of Miami a few years back? If so, this guy is hilarious, and shreds at guitar.

I love this! He makes writing, arranging and producing a song seem effortless and the result is always something that sounds fun. Dave Hill is also damn funny! Absurd and rarely mean! When it comes right down to it, Dave Hill is really something!

I love Dave Hill in everything that he does.
What is amazing in his recordings is that he manage to mix some punk drums and melodies with some (lets say) light music. Sound is also good at onlinecasinounitedkingdom.co.uk games.
I mean, music is funny and it has some remembrance of 70`s punk bands.
