I definitely believe Drew when he says this record is better than Separation. I loved a lot of tracks on that album but this one is shaping up to be easily as good if not better based on the songs I've heard thus far. Honestly, this is probably my least favorite of the three, but still good.

It's my favorite B&C record, though I'm hesitant to use the term "better."

Here's the best analogy I've got: since hearing Thrice's Major/Minor, I've grown to enjoy Beggars less. To me, Major/Minor is almost a better version of Beggars, as they provide me the same feeling/tones/whatever.

But The Things We Think We're Missing and Separation give me different things. I love both dearly, for different reasons. That's not to say either record is a departure, or that I owe nostalgia for my appreciation of the earlier record - but they give me different satisfaction.

So far in, I think I prefer Separation. We'll see how the new record sinks in over time.

Never heard these guys before, but this is solid. Very Moving Mountains-esque. Is the rest of their material like that?

ever since I first started listening to B&C I've thought they were very similar to Moving Mountains.

The album releasing Tuesday is more spatial, the way this song is. Their past isn't as much, but is fantastic in a different way. Highly recommend both.

This record is awesome. I think it's musically better than Separation, but I think the latter is still my favorite. Time will tell though.

Glad it's not just me that can't hear Anthony in this. I like these songs well enough individually, but I need to hear the album as a whole to really make a judgement. To me Separation is best listened to as a whole and it was definitely a grower for me. Hoping that's the case with their new cd as well.

My buddy got to review this album for Chicago Magazine. He said that the album does follow the same formula as Separation, but he also stated that it was as good, if not better then Separation.
