Silverstein Announce "This Is How The Wind Shifts: Addendum"Hopeless Records and Silverstein are thrilled to announce the release of "This Is How The Wind Shifts: Addendum". Four brand new songs have been added to complete the story of the band's 7th studio full-length, "This Is How The Wind Shifts"! Two of the songs being unreleased Silverstein tracks and the other two being new tracks written specifically for this album.

"These songs were written and recorded to complete this album, to finish the story, as well as give our fans some new music while they wait for our next full length." explains vocalist Shane Told.

The acclaimed 7th studio full length garnered high praise from fans and critics alike when it was originally released on February 5, 2013. It was the bands highest rated album yet, with Alternative Press Magazine calling it "Silverstein's best work" and receiving a 4.5 star review.

Two of the new songs, "I Will Illuminate" and "Kill The Lights" start right where "This Is How The Wind Shifts" left off, taking a journey through technical guitar playing, memorable rhythmic riffs, big choruses and sing-alongs.

Fans can watch lyric video for "I Will Illuminate" exclusively with Revolver Magazine here: http://www.revolvermag.com/?p=53501

Great song. They somehow manage to keep things fresh even though their formula has been the same for years. I don't know how they do it, with most other bands my verdict would be 'stagnation'.

One of the best albums of the year hopefully gets even better.

I'm really, really hoping I can convince my metalcore friends to drive up to Massachusetts with me for the intersection of the Story of the Year / Silverstein tour.

SOTY + Silverstein > getting kicked in the balls > We Came as Romans, Hawthorne Heights, all that other shit they're tacking on to their individual tours

Also, if anyone happens to be leaving from the North Jersey area to Clifton Park for the Silverstein headliner in November, let me know. Gas moneys.

We intersect on a lot of bands, so I'm interested: how do you rank their discography?

Inappropriate apostrophe usage on "It stakes it's claim on me."
Song is alright though.

I know you didn't ask me, but

Discovering the waterfront (nostalgic value) > this is how the wind shifts > a shipwreck in the sand > short songs > rescue > when broken is easily fixed = arrivals and departures

Pretty much the same for me but drop Shipwreck below Rescue. I honestly think DTW is their best even looking past nostalgia though, that's such a great album.
