This week Mark Rose (Spitalfield) and Bob Nanna (Braid) stop by to talk about music, the industry, and their musician centric "song shop" like website downwrite.com.
You can subscribe to this podcast in a variety of ways: via iTunes, RSS, or streaming/downloading the mp3 in the replies. You can also find our previous episodes on iTunes and SoundCloud. As always, we hope you enjoy.
Really interesting when Mark gets into Spitalfield's relationship with Victory at the end of the band. He said that the band broke up not because they didn't want to tour or make music anymore but it was a business decision. A Business decision as far as not making enough money because or having to be on Victory going forward? Or just the whole making money as a band outside of any label involvement? Either way, another great podcast
Awesome podcast. The story Mark told about getting Matt Pryor to cover a song for his brother really made the whole concept click for me. Definitely stoked to see how the website continues to progress in the future.
