ABSOLUTExclusive: Close Your Eyes Video

Posted by: Christian Wagner (11/11/13)
Today we are stoked to premiere Close Your Eyes' video for "Frame & Glass" which comes from the band's new album, Line In The Sand. This song is one of my favorite rock tracks this year and new vocalist Sam Ryder gives a powerful performance utilizing his great sense of melody and his unique tone. Watch the video in the replies and pick up the album online.

I don't know if it's just the accent but this song reminds me a lot of We Are The Ocean

Are all the lyrics from this album like this?

If so, that will be something that I miss even more than the vocalist. Even if I don't agree with everything CYE does, the passion was appreciated in a landscape of "heavy" bands that look bored onstage.

Great song. Sam is fits so well with the band; he's exactly what they needed to keep going.

The passion is definitely there on the album. "Frame and Glass" is one of two straight up rock songs on the album. The heavy/punk songs definitely have the intensity of old CYE.

This song, and the rest of the album, is fantastic. One of my favorites this year.

Line in the Sand is such a solid record, it only makes sense that Victory would push the worst song on the record as a single. Still, a very impressive comeback effort.
