Today I'm asking you to pay attention to something on the Internet, but the good news is that it will really only take you about five minutes. Sorority Noise is an indie/emo/punk band that I like from Connecticut and they are going to release a new record called Forgettable on May 15. It's coming out jointly via Storm Chasers Records (the label run by emo mayor Evan Weiss) and Broken World Media (the label run by emo sheriff Derek from The World Is A Beautiful Place etc). Buzzy, right?! Head to the replies to stream a song that is only 1 minute and 39 seconds long from this album called "Still Shrill," which originally appeared on the band's Young Luck EP, but now sounds way better, like someone gave them a few dollars to record this with a grown-up. If you dig the tunes, you can preorder Forgettablehere or here (you choose!) or if you live in the UK, preorder it here tomorrow (sorry, only one link for you). Also they'll be on tour this summer with Modern Baseball, Tiny Moving Parts and The Hotelier, so you can probably watch them play this song.
