sounds almost just like his old band, but i guess that's to be expected. and after reading their blog, it's understandable why they're signed under Rise...

this album is guna take attack attacks album and shit all over it

the only reason attack attack is so big right now is because of austins screams on the cd. Half of attack attacks fans do not no that austin isnt in the band anymore. Fans are going to attack attacks shows and seeing their new fat screamer and thinking that it is the same person who screams on the record

so this is a huge wake up call to everyone

Yeah, they were one of the bands I was thinking about. I also enjoy the Emarosa album and Dance Gavin Dance Downtown Battle Mountain. DGD has really really fallen off.

Yeah, but this doesn't explain why Rise actually picked up on their option, especially:
A. Within a week after the band began.
B. For a band with a former vocalist of Attack Attack!

I hate when bands use obvious references as their band names. Usually they make that name have a negative connotation.

why wouldn't Rise sign Austin? His old bad has sold over 12 THOUSAND RECORDS. Great news for Rise!

They sound pretty much the same as Attack Attack!, just less electro maybe?

I actually think Rise Records is one of my favorite labels for two simple reasons:

The Years Gone By and Breathe Carolina who both dominated my car/laptop/CD player......
