And now my real criticism...I think you judged them too harshly and your review focused too much on the fact that they're a "generic screamo band" (which they are) instead of taking the record and the band as-is and giving us an unbiased outlook of the album. TRUE WORDS SPOKEN IN YOUR REVIEW THOUGH, don't get me wrong! It's just, I think, not the proper format.

Not that there is or isn't a proper format, it's just...you know.

More about the album, less about what type of band they are and why you don't like their style.

No, that's fair. I tried to focus on the album as a whole that their screamo is generic and boring, but their softer songs are actually pretty good. I hear what you are saying though - thanks for the feedback.

what was your opinion on their prior release "outside of this". I'm just trying to get a gage on if it is a let down, or along the same lines in your opinion.

This band sucks. They are 2006's Hawthorne Heights.

I applaud you Steve, for listening to this record and not attempting to hurt yourself.

Very nice review. I think I like Outside of This better but this one still has its moments.

I finally see someone here that acknowledges that Bert McCracken has pipes.

I cant decide whether these guys are decent or blow...but they certainly arn't good
