I loved Blue Sky Mile, but I thought he rocked the The Four Colour Process before he got booted.

I might be incorrect, but I recall hearing something about his leaving TFCP not being amicable and the band pretty much forcing him out.

I still like TFCP now, even if they can't seem to release a full length - but I really liked Kansky's work while being a member.

I rarely ever feel the need to chime in on his business, but being a rather close friend of Jerry's, I would like to reiterate that the split from the 4cp was both amicable and initiated by Jerry himself.

The reasoning being that during the duration of his stint as singer, the band had a propencity towards non-progress, there were behavioral dissagreements (read: what was appropriate in front of kids, fans, etc) and in general, the music just wasn't his vibe. He knew it, the other band members knew it, and it was such a non-issue that they are all still friends.
