Hey all,
I am hammering out the final details of a beta mp3 store, which is aiming to return 90% of the album purchase price to the musician, instead of Snocap's ridiculous 39 cents a song or 30% of an album.
The site so far is less of a community and more of a utility. Musicians can sign up, create albums, upload songs, and set prices. As a user, you get a link for each album, which you can then distribute on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, your band's website, email lists, or what have you. The link goes directly to a purchase page.
The site is called bonmp3,
http://bonmp3.com. This is the first time I've posted anything to musicians, so I am excited to hear any and all comments you guys have. Thanks!
