I've already listened to the whole thing twice. MOF was my album of the year when it came out, and this could be the same thing for 2010.

This album has grown a lot on me after just a few listens. The lyrics in this band's songs are just amazing. Nothing as catchy as The Twist or Keep Yourself Warm but a very solid record.

The album is amazing... it took three or four spins to fully get into it. I loved Midnight Organ Fight and listened to that record constantly since its released. The one thing that Midnight Organ Fight has over Mixed Drinks... is its production. MOF was recorded lived then layered where as Mixed drinks... was tracked separately. I prefer the raw sound found on their previous release. This record is still FUCKING ASTOUNDING, makes me glad I am not deaf!

Forcing myself not to listen. Definitely getting this on the 5th.

Sounds wonderful, with some more listens I'm sure this will end up being one of my favorites of this year

It's kind of a grower for me as well... I sort of liked it at the start but really got into it over the weekend.
