i adore this band. wish they'd gotten a lot bigger, they deserved it. gorgeous songwriting, flawless vocals, haunting melodies. this band had it all. but TROK is great, too, there's no denying that.

The last two albums from this band hold a lot of memories for me. I would have much rather had a follow up to The Bell and the Hammer instead of TROK although I enjoy TROK quite a bit.

There are definitely those times where I wish This Day and Age were still around... who doesn't? But I am also very pleased with the evolution of TROK. The new album is incredible, just like the rest of their releases. In short, the members of TDAA clearly have some magical musicianship that they will carry into whatever they do.

Bold first comment.
I would have used a "~" or "=," but I can't knock you for your comment.

I was touring with them braving the harsh winter and black ice roads.

Saw them in Chicago a few weeks before they broke up...it was a great show and quite a shock to see them go. Always Leave the Ground and TB&TH were the soundtracks to a couple years of my life...will always have found memories of these guys.
