personally i LOVED wywtb, now & when it came out all the same. i can't compare it to tayf, they barely sound like the same band to me - i love the albums for different reasons, wywtb is SO fucking raw and emotional and at times feels a little out of control, but it really worked for me. tayf on the other hand was smoother, but well... i mean we all know what we love about tayf so no reason for me to go on. i haven't listened to the self-titled yet (i am going to ASAP now though), but if this lineup made an album with that sort of intensity and emotion, that would be a good fucking album. |
spot on. WYWTB has much more intricate guitar and bass work yet is just so off the wall with madness. It really makes me think of Charlie Sheen in musical form. TAYF didn't strike me as muh because, while it is still a great album, had that unpolished (I guess?) feel.
on a random note, I an only imagine the drugs and alohol Adam was doing in the WYWTB era-He was messed up.
