At an average of four songs a year, I kind of feel they do need to keep up. In entertainment, sometimes your only as good as your last release. And I don't consider artists like Brian Fallon, Dallas Green and Andy Hull to name a few as scenesters. They work hard, write good music, and tour, and so on. I love Brand New, but I can not say for certain that in three years following the release of Daisy they'll have another new album anywhere close to ready. I makes me sad to say that.

They really don't. Fallon probably doesn't at this point either, I know who Hull and Green are but not much about them, so I can't say much about that. Just because they do put out releases all the time doesn't mean they have to. As much as fans like to think it, Brand New doesn't really owe us a new album tomorrow. They've paid there dues to get to where they are. A new album will come and when it does it will have been worth the wait.

I feel Brand New has a lot more to offer than their actual output shows. Their leaked demos were better than 95% of the finished products bands in the similar genre were putting out. I know that they don't owe us anything per say, but to keep a healthy fan base alive I feel a band they would put a little more personality and care into it. The day they decide to release another album I'll be there in a second. In the meantime I'd just like to keep in touch with one of my favourite bands.

First sentence almost gave me a heart attack since I bought (or used it as a birthday gift) two tickets from StubHub and they were super expensive.
