Download gets worse year on year, three old washed up headliners that will obviously draw in crowds but are no where near their former glory.

Whilst I agree to an extent, The Prodigy still bring it hard and are a superb live group.

With Metallica playing the 'Black Album' in full? Sounds awesome to me, but as you say it will surely draw in the crowds. I just don't think they are all 'washed-up'.

Who do you think should headline instead? Think Black Sabbath should be up there because they've just reformed, not so much the other two.
And seeing as they were mentioned - did anyone catch Metallica and Lou Reed on Jools Holland last week? Just awful.

I can see the whole Black Sabbath appeal, but I watched Jools Holland it was absolutely dreadful. I honestly can't suggest a headliner, but for the past few years it's been mainly classic rock bands; Maiden, Kiss, Judas Priest, AC/DC etc, it's predictable who will play.

I get your point, Mastodon are the only band that sprung to mind. I suppose The Prodigy are a bit of a "gamble" but they've been around so many times before...

Like the new Gallows single a lot.

It might be the right time for me to get back into 65daysofstatic. I remember loving "Betraying Chino" a long time ago (and yes, that track is still awesome).

couldn't disagree more. i thought they were going to be writing stuff similar to 'orchestra...' (i think one of them said).
The song is boring and predictable.

I'm biased, I love Wade's voice & I'm excited for the album as well.
To each their own.

yeah I suppose.
Every time I've seen Alexisonfire live, I've always loved Wade's vocals too. But this just wasn't for me.

I understand, it is a big change most definitely. I have high hopes for the album only because of how good Wade is as a vocalist & how talented the rest of the members of Gallows are. Hope the album is good for both of our sakes.
