Hey guys, I made a new account (I wanted a new name) and I can't post comments, start threads, upload an avatar, or send messages. I can edit my basic profile information but that's about it. I know it's an incredibly vague problem, but does anyone know what might be causing it/how I can fix it. Thanks!

as far as starting threads goes, you need to post a certain number of comments in the forums in order to obtain that permission. I dunno about anything else though, sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

IIRC, other staff can correct me if I'm wrong, artist profiles are being suspended temporarily until the new site launches.

I am having problem with a new account too. I can't reply to any articles or anything.

My friend made an account, and he couldn't post, change avatar or anything either. This morning he got an email which said...

"Unfortunately your registration at AbsolutePunk.net did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted."

So he's now unsure if he can sign up again or not, and he's not sure what it means by "membership requirements" either.

I'm posting here because same sort of issue, I guess.

Same thing happened to me. It wouldn't let me post anything/change my avatar, then I got an email saying "Unfortunately your registration at AbsolutePunk.net did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted."

It didn't specify any membership requirements though, so I have no idea what happened.
