I'm on board with the vast majority of how you run things as well as musical opinions, but the way you've handled yourself throughout this thread seems unnecessary. This literally mirrors a 4chan thread in almost every way. I made it pretty clear that I don't like Ke$ha, but it seems petty and cynical to use the audience you have to tear apart someone and justify it with the music theyve made in the past as opposed to the song at hand.
It just feels very Pitchfork-esque. |
I don't do things for your approval. However, I'll respond to your point: I think the music at hand
is awful. I also see no reason why someone can't look at the entire career, see that Ke$ha virtually embodies the opposite of many of Bob Dylan's messages, and laugh at the absurdity of it.
It is petty and cynical. It
should seem that way. It was meant to be.
As for 4Chan or Reddit or whatever comparisons -- I don't read either, so what it mirrors is of no real importance to me. People are enjoying themselves. It's fun and non-serious.
