Sweet news on that vinyl, but in regards to the greatest hits, I could see it being useful for them to have on Warped. Yea all of us own their songs or did at some point but lets remember that there are still kids out there who might not really know the band. I see it as a nice way for people at Warped who never gave the band a chance to hear a selection of easy popular cuts and go deeper from there. Although I wish they would release the bonus tracks in an EP for the fans who own all the songs already.

I dont mind the band, but this may be one of my favorite posts ever. Dont know why, but it made me laugh so hard.

I love SF, but as a big fan, a greatest hits is weird. I'm sure they'll sell a good amount on Warped if they play for younger kids who will probably dig them but not know much about them. I'll check it out for the bonus tracks too, so I guess it works out better than I thought it would. I still feel it's a little lame though.

LIEY on vinyl though, I'm stoked about. Glad that's finally happening. I hope they press the others eventually as well.

i was hoping when they announced they were going into the studio soon, it would be for a whole new album. new songs from senses fail are still new songs so i will buy, i am extremely excited about the vinyl news i hope the other albums get the treatment.

If there is a DVD I will most likely buy it.

I'll buy anything they release, something about a greatest hits sounds odd. But excited nevertheless!!

when I read this was a 10th anniversary celebration I immediately thought of Silverstein's example. They did 4 concerts, each playing one of their albums from the beginning to the end, filmed it (with pretty good directing from robby starbuck) and released a live DVD with 22 songs. furthermore they did a documentary focused on the history of the band, in which they've talked about each record, the evolution of the band, etc.

and they've released the DVD/CD for 15 dollars or something, which was cool too

I mean, was it actually the band's choice to release a Greatest Hits? Or was it the label trying to gut them for money, and they decided to make an attempt at salvaging the release by including bonus material for their fans?

Unless they are currently unsigned....that would be a foot-in-mouth moment. They still on Vagrant?
