AND EXCITED BY NOTHING!!!!!!!
Female - 17 Years Old
This is unrelated to the thread, but I didn't know where else to ask this question. I'm applying for a position as a research assistant in a neuroscience lab (I'm an undergrad) and am wondering whether I should include my age or not in a CV. I know that the general rule of thumb is leave out personal info, but in this case, my employment and lab experience history is pretty much bare for a 5th year college student, and I feel like the fact that I'm 16 rather than 20-21 would prevent that from counting against me. Then again I also don't want a professor to think that I'm either lying or trying to get the position by exploiting my age, so idk.
Any thoughts? My GPA is barely a 3.0 and my only research experience involves quitting a lab after two weeks so I'm definitely gonna have to leave that out. So, I have literally nothing aside from unrelated summer jobs, lol.
