| | The following is a mini interview of generic questions that we posed to all bands that wanted to answer:

1) How did you get your band name?
There are many myths and legends about how Score 24 got its name and they range anywhere from the amount of dance moves that Paul knows, to how many times we got chased out of venues by big scary men in black leather jackets. But the most probable theory is that we simply decided to name it Score 24 because it is a cool sounding name and it rhymes.
2) How did this band get started?
Boy scouts…while taking care of several elderly ladies, we got the idea to start a band and create music so powerful and tingly that these 90 year old women would get up and start doing the twist. It was amazing how quick it worked too. Within the first five minutes they were doing back flips and hitting on Joey Fox! Simply amazing!
3) What bands are you influenced by?
There are so many bands that we are influenced by but if we had to choose a few, we would probably say Blink-182, Sum 41, New Found Glory, and Bowling for Soup.
4) If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would it be and why?
If we could choose any band to tour with, it would definitely be Twisted Sister. They just rock so hard and they are such a great live band. I’m sure that every night there would be partying and fun nonstop!
5) If you were a furry, what animal would you be? Why that animal?
Wow it would definitely be a Koala bear because they are excellent swimmers, their fur is thick and soft and pleasant to touch, and they sleep all day and rock it in the outback all night long!
6) Why should people listen to your band?
People should listen to our music because it’s perfect for people of all ages! We have energetic, powerful, and upbeat melodies that will keep you listening non-stop! Perfect for people with upset stomachs and diarrhea.
7) If you were chosen to be in Guitar Hero/Rock band, what song would you want in the game? How hard do you think it would be to five-star on expert?
The song we would have to choose to put on Guitar Hero/Rock band would definitely have to be “She’s A Good Girl” off of our CD “It’s Contagious!”. It has such a great melody and has a sick guitar solo that will melt your face off. This would definitely be a great challenge on Guitar Hero/Rock Band. Fans would probably never get bored.
8) If you can change something about the music Industry, what would it be?
If we can change something about the music industry it would be to make it less political. It’s too much about the image and not about the music. There are so many bands out there that have lots of talent and they are never chosen to be the next big thing. We want everyone to have that chance.
9) Memorable tour experience?
Where can we start? When you go on a full U.S. tour, there are so many stories that come out of it. From running around parking lots at night in tighty whities to trying to ride a street cleaner in Vegas. But one of the most memorable stories we can tell would be getting jumped by Chip in Dale in Disney. Great Times!
10) What does AP.net mean to you?
AP.net is probably the greatest place in the web to read up about new CDs, new artists, shows and anything and everything about the music industry today. Pretty much anybody who is anyone goes on this web site. So what are you waiting for? Go to Absolute Punk.net now! We’ll race you there!
11) What is your favorite song to play?
We love playing “Are You Ready For It” which is off of our CD “It’s Contagious!”. It’s the one song that is meant to get people ready for what is to come. It is all about having courage to do something out of this world and to do it with all your heart.
12) What is your vacation spot of choice?
Disney!!! Our favorite and 100% the happiest place in the world!
13) What music reminds you of your childhood?
Blink-182 definitely reminds us of our child hood. Back to when we were stupid kids riding and skating around in the streets causing trouble. It is by far our favorite music and probably will never change.
14) If you could have any super power, what would it be? Why?
Invisibility! We can run around naked and never get caught!
15) Do you feel that your band has “made it”?
Absolutely not. We plan on living by the rule that when we do “make it”, we will continue working with the same amount of ambition that we have now. We will never act differently then we did in the beginning and this will guarantee that we will be successful in doing what we love and we will do it honestly.
16) What is something that most fans don’t know about you?
One thing that most people don’t know about us is that Paul, Rob and Joey are all Eagle Scouts! One accomplishment that most people choose to keep secret, we are not embarrassed and we feel that it helps us work together more efficiently and brings us together. You learn a lot in boy scouts that most people don’t realize and its not just how to pitch a tent and use a pocketknife.
17) What’s your favorite holiday?
Halloween is an amazing holiday and it is our favorite for sure! We all love dressing up and having fun because that is what we are all about! Halloween is the one holiday that you can act like a total idiot and not get criticized...we also love candy.
18) What do you like to do in your spare time?
We all practice our instruments like it’s our job. Oh wait…it is! We all work on the side, but when we are all together, we like to party hard!
19) What kind of hidden talents do you have?
Rob can catch tiny objects in his mouth from at least 15 ft away. Ryan can do nonstop cartwheels, Joey can clean better than his own mother, Tom has gills, and therefore he can breathe underwater! Paul can stretch his limbs as far as his heart desires. At night, we go out to use these special powers to fight evil and to save mankind. To do this, we form the SCORE SQUAD! |

10:24 PM on 11/28/09 | Not sure who you all are but i know these guys on a personal level, went to some out of state shows with them and actually know how these guys act. They truly are THE MOST down to earth band i have ever met. Funny dudes!!! Their music may not be the best but they have great potential and they are definitely progressing into a more serious band. before you criticize actually know your facts. ...and they are far from douches.. unlike other bands they take the time to actually talk to fans and hang out with them either at the shows themselves or outside of shows just to show that they care and have a good time.
fuck this lame criticism. Score24 is a great band with even better members. Never change guys.
