intunemusiconline.com - setlists!!! Always loved Yellowcard.
Their older stuff showed promise then came to fruition with Ocean Ave, an incredible pop-rock summer album. Maybe the best summer soundtrack of this generation.
Lights and Sounds is a complete winter album, and it succeeds on many tracks. Some of the songs (both "Holly" songs, for example) are up with the best they've written.. but some of them are just awful. Loved the idea for the album, though. Loved their attempt to do more than be a one-hit pop-rock act.
Their latest one never grabbed me.. it was missing their maturity from Lights and lacking their youth from Ocean. A stange album of some kind. Not bad, but it failed to grab me.
If Big If can capture what I liked about Yellowcard, then sign me up. | | |
