Yea.

A) Pretty sure FBR was founded by Janick and one of the Less Than Jake guys.

B) Basically, it's just an FBR jumping into a different bed with Warner Bros. WB owns FBR, they also own Atlantic and Elektra. Don't quite get why you'd resurrect a label when you already own one unless he just wants a label that's different from FBR's scene.

C) Elektra used to be the shit when it came to WB labels. Such a diverse lineup: The Cure, Busta Rhymes, Ween, Third Eye Blind, Pantera, Nada Surf (pre-Barsuk), Lucky Boy's Confusion, The Format, Del, etc.

Hopefully, this will mean some old albums get re-issued on vinyl. I've always wanted "Interventions and Lullabies" on wax.

Haha I don't see why they are trying to revive old labels, people don't really buy music like they use to.

I wish them luck but I won't be surprised if this fails.
