I love it. It makes my day to see Placebo mentioned. I absolutely adore this band. One thing about the single, as I've noted with their past few releases, is that it doesn't really give us an idea of what we're in store for the next album, if that makes any sense. Also, this won't be the international single, only in the UK.

that doesn't surprised me. i felt the same way about The Bitter End and Taste in Men, both first tracks that really didn't represent the album at all, but still lovely songs. where'd you find a copy of the album?

i heard it on a radio show that gives first plays to singles, but they mentioned it wont be out to buy for a while.

I love this band.

I know it's old, but you must pick up their live DVD if you haven't already.

oh I have the live DVD, Soulmates Never Die! Also have the Once More With Feeling video DVD and this unauthorized bio called Andogeny, which would have been really, really solid had they been able to get more official footage.

I don't think downloading is wrong :P but Placebo's singles (as they're among the declinging amount of bands that still physically release singles) always have amazing artork and usually a slew of b-sides. In fact, I was hoping they'd release a b-side album instead of one of just covers or remixes.

Any news if that March release date is Stateside as well? Usually it takes a few months to get here. Also saw a few people refer to this album as 'Meds' whn I was searching for the download. Confirmation?

I find it sad that America is one of the only countries that this band is not absolutely HUGE in...and they need to tour with Rufus Wainwright b/c they'd make an amazing combo.
