Being Wrong Never Felt So Right

Posted by - 09:45 AM on 01/20/06
MTV.com recently wrote an article on the direction of New Found Glory's new material. The guys should be finished recording in March, with a fall release date.

"'We just went into the studio with Thom Panunzio, who's worked with Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty and, like, ['70s rockers] Grand Funk Railroad,' Gilbert laughed. 'And the studio we're at belongs to none other than [sensitive '70s folk-rocker] Jackson Browne. So yeah, we're doing some things differently.'"--Chad Gilbert, NFG

Haha, that's sad that MTV needed to put in brackets explaining who Grand Funk Railroad and Jackson Browne are.

true that.. I remember getting "Sticks and Stones" the summer between my junior and senior year of high school.. damn good cd, too.

Hopefully they won't fuck up hardcore like they did on "Catalyst". Some tracks were freakin' sweet (ie: All Downhill From Here, Truth Of My Youth, At Least I'm Known For Something), but some of them (ie: Who Am I, I Don't Wanna Know) were crap.. No more slow songs, boys!

I wonder how Chad's engagement will influence his writing.. (Chad and Steve do the writing, right?)

Chad generally writes the music while Steve writes a majority of the lyrics
