Posted by: Frank Giaramita (02/13/06)
On the "Screaming Is For Babies Tour", The Starting Line will be playing about an hour and a half long set consisting of a new song titled "Somebody's Gonna Miss Us". The band plans to jump into the studio to record their new songs sooner than you may think.

I have seen TSL live twice now and they have been sort of bad. I love their CDs but hopefully they perform better live this time around.

ugh. TSL for an hour and a half? that sounds a bit tedious.
i personally stick to the cds as well.
i think i've seen them 6 times from 2003 up til last years Warped and they have gotten progressively bad.

I personally don't think they're any worse than 3 years ago, but I do think they made a concious decision to play all their songs at about half speed...They seem to sound more sincere (though tedious) when theyre not break-neck pop punk songs.

It was a pretty good show overall. Gatsbys was the best of the evening, but then I'm biased towards them. Copeland and Cartel were good, though I didn't know much by either of them. Starting Line put on a really good show, tons of energy, and played most of Based on a True Story. They didn't play I'm Real, which disappointed a lot of people. They also played a brand new song that they'd never played live before (or so they said) in the encore. Can't remember the name of it though, something about being loved, but it was a pretty good one.

it was called 'Do We Really Need Love', and yeah, it was really good. everything was really good except Copeland. they are the true sound of boring. i mean, i don't dislike them because they're boring, it's just that there's not really anything to appreciate beyond their being boring. but yeah, Gatsby's owned that bitch.

TRUE TIL DEATH.
