Few people realize that unless you're selling 500,000+ copies of your latest album, your touring life isn't so easy. Taco Bell is practically gourmet for some touring bands.
Always reminds me of the story of one of AFI's first tours: they slept on park benches and sometimes didn't eat well for weeks (as vegan food is generally more expensive). Now, they're on Interscope Records, and they can eat the way they want to and sleep in reasonable tour busses/hotels.
Limbeck are honest and hard-working musicians. I'm not totally down with their sound, but their work ethic and dedication should be a model for many bands.
These guys opened a few shows recently for Will Hoge, two of which I caught this past weekend at the 8x10 and 9:30 club. Will's sets were awesome, among the best I've seen him and the band do thus far. Limbeck's... not so much. I don't mind their studio stuff, though.
I assume you probably haven't seen Will since the addition of Adam to the band? He's great, and a really nice guy. Being from NC, you may know him already since he's from right around there.
I miss Brian on the guitar... and his backup vocals. The last guy they had playing with them (Slim) didn't really sing, so songs like "Someone Else's Baby" and "It's a Shame" were completely different being just Will. Jason (Slim) was an excellent guitar player, but he didn't really fit in with "the band" the way that I think Adam does. I think you'll be pleased with him.
