If you were planning on attending the Motion City Soundtrack show this Sunday, March 19th at the 9:30 Club with The Format, Men Women & Children and The Matches, but were bummed to find out it was sold out, then don't worry! This tour will be hitting up the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA on Monday, March 20th; they'll be playing Great Hall which has a capacity of about 600 people. Doors open at 7:00PM and the show itself starts at 8:00PM; however, this is an 18 and over show. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for non-students.
Saw this tour last night, my first time seeing the Format, 2nd seeing MCS and Matches, god, is it just me or do the Matches put on one of the best live shows around? The Format was fantastic, as was Men, Women and Children, who are selling their cd on the tour before next tuesday when it should come out. Motion City was having technical problems, Justin's guitar kept going out of tune and his ear monitor was messed up, he forgot the words to 'Make Out Kids' at one point.

What?!?! This show is like, in my backyard practically. I have to miss the 930 Club show, but I could do Monday night. I can't believe that The Matches will be in Frednecksburg. Amazing.
