wow. alot of ignorance but mainly just idiocy in this thread. that's fine if you don't like the zune cause you've used it, but to be trashing it just because you heard it sucks makes you look like an idiot. now i have no idea if the zune hd will be something i want to buy but i am excited to at least check it out. in terms of hard drive based players the zune just destroys the ipod classic in my eyes. i own both an ipod classic 160 and a zune 80 and i cant tell you how often i want to throw the classic against the wall, the only reason i keep it is because i can interface it with my car stereo and have most of my music collection in my car selectable through my head unit. the zune 80 is the finest harddrive based player ive ever used. and to those who wont buy microsoft because they are "evil" check out some of the likely illegal antitrust activities that apple, att, and google have been engaging in against competitors. i am no microsoft fan boy nor a an apple hater. I have and like my iphone, macbook, and playstation 3. when it comes to tech i want the best and what works well.

Looks like a neat gadget. I really don't need one with my iphone and all but if I didn't have this iphone I would seriously think about getting it.
I do love the direction they are moving in though. Load it up with a nice menu, easy access features and plenty of over-the-top specs (720p!!!) and you have yourself a winner. Good for Zune
