Listening to Before the Blackout now. Personally, it's my favorite. They really grew up on that album, the sound is a tad darker -- I was diggin' the direction they were headed.
I saw them a bunch of times, they always put on a good show and are great guys! I even got them to give me and sign their backdrop once! (a piece of paper where one of them drew their trade mark A lol) Great band! I wish the Get Go would do a major tour of the states though...
I have no idea how I ended up hearing Allister but dear god do I love Dead Ends and Girlfriends. Though I wasn't as crazy about Last Stop Suburbia, Somewhere On Fullerton is still a solid song that sticks in my head.
I remember going to the Knights of Columbus to see Remember Maine the week that 504Plan called it quits and Tim was at the show. These guys always stayed with the scene and didn't quit on us like other bands out of Chicago have.
