Wow, Cobra (and All Time Low) sold more?

I would expect BLG to outsell both bands.. because they've been in the mainstream spotlight much more (The Great Escape), and before this release (2006/2007).

I really didn't like this album... and the general reaction has been negative.. maybe that's why it sold so little?

that's where the difference lies. in the marketing of the product. BLG may have a disappointing first week sale, but in the long run BLG will sell more. but what do we care. They get rich, we don't and we're stuck with their album. at least i will be.

with Columbia anything can happen. they're on the same label as Beyonce and Kelly Rowland you know?

I doubt they're "rich" as you say. Also, how are you "stuck" with it? You don't have to listen/buy it.

yeah. you fly a private jet and you're not rich yet? right... each one of them bought a house last year. i'm stuck with it cause i bought it. you do the thinking.

Hung out with these dudes last night at their CD release party, they are really down to earth dudes.
Also they're not running this huge operation like you would think... It's not a bunch of suits sitting down figuring out a marketing plan or anything like that. Heck Martin and their manager Brent used to play in The Drive together. It's just 4 dudes out there having fun and trying to take this as far as they can.

They sold 700,000 copies of their self titled. Now think how many copies 'The Great Escape' sold - it went platinum.
