Narrowing The Field

According to PhillyBurbs.com, the RIAA will be specifically searching for CDs and DVDs for sale at street corners, flea markets, family run shops and even mainstream record stores in these 12 cities: Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Chicago; Dallas; Houston; Los Angeles; Miami; New York; Philadelphia; Providence, R.I.; San Diego and San Francisco.

probably population, and it covers a decent portion of America (mid-west and everything).

Plus, some are close to LA and New York, where a lot of movies are made

finally the RIAA is doing something sensible. the real problem is physical piracy and not music piracy on the internet! now hopefully theyll stop suing pre-teens and the elderly for file sharing.... fat chance...but oh well...

hahaha dumb RIAA assholes.... HAVE YOU CHECKED MEXICO AT ALL? you havent seen bootleg until you've been to one of the big cities like Guadalajara or Mexico City.

They're called the "Recording Industry Association of AMERICA" for a reason...

The closest to Mexico that they can get is Texas, hence the three Texas cities on the list.
