Angels and Airwaves has cancelled the remaining two nights of their 4-night stint at the Troubador in Los Angeles. Tom lost his voice during the Tuesday night show and as a result the band has decided to call of the final two shows in hopes of still being able to play the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine on Saturday. Tickets will be honored for the Taking Back Sunday/Angels and Airwaves show in Long Beach in July. You can also get a refund through Ticketmaster, however they aren't even aware the show has been cancelled yet (even though Tom announced it on KROQ this morning and Troubadour has it posted as well).
Yeah, I finally get a birthday concert today (I've been wanting to see Blink on my birthday since I was 16 and I turned 22 today) and it's cancelled! Good thing gas is so expensive and I have a huge project due at school tomorrow or else I'd be super fucking pissed. It doesn't matter that they're offering tickets for the TBS show in exchange. It's going to be fucking HUGE and there's going to be 234793247932 people. The whole thing about this show was that it was going to be so small and intimate, and I have a lot of sentimental value regarding the Troub so it would have been amazing to see Tom play there. Call me bitter, but that's just my luck these days!!! //end rant.

i feel you man, the troub is my favorite venue by far and i don't even live in LA.
