cool! certainly not the biggest fan of their new release, but they seem happy where they are as a band. still hoping this album grows on me..

I like it a little, but I miss the insane FOT sound.

Manipulator was fantastic! The new album is pretty legit too.. Screw the people hung up on the doppleganger sound still.

I really enjoy the new cd but then again i haven't listened to the first two releases

To all the other people that want the Doppelganger sound again, you might as well just give up. It's not a bad think, however. Doppelganger was great in it's own respect, and probably was their best album for many. But I don't want the same sound every album cycle. I actually loved Manipulator as well! Doppelganger was my favorite and probably always will be, but I can enjoy this band and respect that they explore new paths no one else would.

Probably the same reason so many people love Brand New. They're records have been changing as well. Deja and Devil and God were night and day... just like Daisy.

Im really digging the new CD, been listening to it non stop lately. and manipulator is amazing as well. honestly doppelganger isnt that great to me, it just isn't that memorable. of course its a great CD but the parts just dont stick with me as much as the latest 2 albums do.

as much as i have wanted to get into manipulator and now, in the unlikely event, i just can't.

there's no denying the immense amount of talent this band possesses, but doppelganger, for me at least, is by far their best album to date and will always be my favorite.

Their new record is getting too much undeserved shit, I think it's great, and I agree, people should stop expecting a Doppelganger pt.2
